Working on the Greenport development in Hull, the CAT 385 long reach excavator fitted with rock grab and GPS dig control system is placing rock armour and moving the sand fill inside the dock where an area has been reclaimed.  Siemens are investing £160m in wind turbine production and installation facitlities at the site to boost the UK's offshore windfarm industry.  WM Plant Hire were also involved in the installation of the world's largest prototype turbine at their site in Methil.
