Rail tracks in Hinksey, Oxfordshire have flooded 11 times in 14 years.  As part of flood alleviation work to improve the railway Network Rail have approved the installation of culverts under the railway.  The principal contractor working on the scheme, Carillion Rail, have this month employed WM Plant Hire's experienced operator and CAT 25m long reach machine to assist on the project.  An electronic slew restrictor was fitted to the machine to ensure greater safety while working near live railway lines.
