With wet winter weather and concerns about landslips on the West of England Mainline urgent maintenance works were carried out by contractors at Crewkerne including excavation of counterfort drains using WM Plant Hire’s impressive 30m CAT long reach machine. This extra reach was required given the awkward site location over a tunnel.
